March Collectible Pixie - ‘Midnight’ - by Ava Barrett (Age 9)

Meet a very special Collectible Pixie - ‘Midnight' is designed by winner of this month's Design a Pixie competition, 9 year old, Ava Barrett. 
‘Midnight’ symbolizes hope, strength and compassion for the children of Ukraine. 

The world is a scary place for children right now, with nowhere more terrifying than in the Ukraine. The recent deliberate destruction of the Childrens & Maternity hospital in Mariupol, perhaps being the most shocking and barbaric war crime so far.

But Pixies and your generous spirit can help -  all profits from the sale of this month’s ‘Midnight’ Pixie will go to UNICEF Ukraine, to help the children affected by war. You can read more HERE.

Ava is wise for her age and like children tend to do, feels the uncertainty of the world deeply, causing her to have trouble sleeping at night. But being actively involved in taking action to help others, has lifted her spirits. Her wish for ‘ Midnight is “Look up to the stars, you’re not alone”.

This doll has a special poem by Emily Dickinson in his pocket that reads:

”Hope is the thing with feathers, which perches in the soul,

and sings the tune without the words, and never stops at all.”

This Collectible Pixie is only available to order until March 31st 2022.
